TechByter Worldwide’s a MUSEing Test Site
You're just my type!
If you have some history with website development, you know how hard it was to deal with typefaces. About a dozen faces were considered to be "safe", meaning that you could expect them to appear on a visitor's browser the way they looked on your development machine.
Doing something like this, for example, would have required that the page be created as a graphic, which would make the page load slowly and it would also obscure the text from search engines.
Webfonts make it possible to render a page such as this in text. The only graphic on this page is the microphone in the upper left. Everything else is just plain text.
Creative Cloud subscribers have access to a vast array of typefaces, many of which can be used on websites.
